The Best Plan Challenge — Disclaimer and Agreement

Keeps is built around sharing high-quality, trusted plans, that are created by using human knowledge and experience. The Competition is designed to highlight plans that are exceptional, thoughtful, and genuinely useful to the community.

By participating in The Best Plan Challenge (the “Competition”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 or older residing in the United States.

Employees, affiliates, and executives of Keeps (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to participate.

Each participant can submit up to 3 plans from each category. Participants may choose any category within Keeps: travel, events or meal plans; if participants submit more than one plan, they may create plans in the same or in different categories, as long as they submit no more than 3 plans from each category.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Entry Requirements

Participants must submit their entries via email to [email protected] by August 7, 2026.

Each entry email must include:

  • A link to your plan/s
  • Your full name and address.
  • Your email address and phone number.

Incomplete entries will not be considered.

3. Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Entries will be judged solely by Keeps, at its discretion, based on its interpretation of “the best version” received. Factors considered include: originality, use of original photos, authenticity of the plan, how elaborate the plan is, visual presentation, accuracy, and other factors reflecting the overall usefulness and quality of the plan.

Keeps is a curated platform and plans are evaluated primarily on quality, usefulness, and how valuable they are for others who may wish to follow them.

To receive additional points, participants may share their plans with friends and invite others to save the plan on Keeps. The number of users who save a plan may account for up to 25% of the final evaluation. Saves will be counted only during the Competition window (through August 7, 2026).

Saving a plan requires creating a Keeps account and adding the plan to saved plans.

The winner plan will be announced on September 1, 2026 on our social media accounts or via direct email.

The decision of Keeps is final and binding.

Keeps reserves the right to verify eligibility, review submissions for compliance with these rules, and disqualify any participant who provides false information, attempts to manipulate the voting, saving, or judging process, uses fraudulent means to participate, or otherwise violates these terms and conditions.

4. Prizes

First place prize is $500. Prize payment will be made by check, ACH transfer or another payment method selected by Keeps in its sole discretion. No cash or other alternatives will be offered; plus free access to Keeps platform for life.

Second place prize: $100. Prize payment will be made by check, ACH transfer, or another payment method selected by Keeps in its sole discretion. No cash or other alternatives will be offered; plus free access to Keeps platform for life.

Keeps reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, if necessary.

Winners may be required to provide information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and facilitate prize delivery.

Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, local, or other applicable taxes associated with acceptance or receipt of a prize.

5. Use of Personal Information and Plans

Each plan entry will be evaluated, and may be presented on the Keeps website.

Participants retain ownership of their submitted plans. However, by submitting a plan, each participant represents and warrants that they have all necessary rights, permissions, and authority to submit the plan and any content included within it, and that the submission does not violate the rights of any third party.

By entering the Competition, participants grant Keeps a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, modify, adapt, distribute, promote, and otherwise exploit the submitted plans, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, for any business, promotional, marketing, product development, or other lawful purpose. Keeps may feature submitted plans and winners on its website, social media channels, marketing materials, and other communications without further notice or compensation unless prohibited by law.

Keeps reserves the right to publish the plans on the website, to edit, to add or eliminate information, to delete from the website, and to use the plans according to its sole discretion.

Participants consent to Keeps using their name, image, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

Personal information collected will be used in accordance with Keeps' Privacy Policy.

6. Liability

Keeps is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or cannot be delivered due to technical or other issues.

Keeps accepts no liability for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by any participant as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize.

7. Right to Cancel or Amend

Keeps reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

8. Governing Law

The Competition is governed by the laws of the State of California.

9. Community Purpose

By entering this Competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

10. Limitation of Liability

By participating in the Competition, each participant agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Keeps, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Competition, submission of an entry, acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, or any violation of these terms and conditions.

In no event shall Keeps be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the Competition, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

Except where prohibited by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Competition shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in California under its applicable rules.

Participants agree that any such dispute shall be brought solely in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, representative, or consolidated proceeding.

Participants waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

12. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Competition constitutes the participant's consent for Keeps and its designees to use the participant's name, likeness, photograph, voice, biographical information, city and state of residence, submitted plans, and statements regarding the Competition for advertising, promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes in any media worldwide, without further notice, review, approval, or compensation.
